Science-based design and validation

iVisual is a data and AI-driven platform for science-based design and validation, using a patented Color Passport System to predict consumer behavior and optimize brand performance.

Brand DNA - the strategic foundation

Brand DNA

The Brand DNA is the strategic foundation of iVisual. It defines what your brand stands for and translates that into clear visual direction. You create your Brand DNA by answering a set of guided questions about your brand’s identity, positioning, and personality.

What you get

A structured Brand DNA report that serves as the reference point for all visual and creative work.

Scientific foundation

The Brand DNA is based on widely used strategic frameworks, including the Brand Key, the Censydiam model for consumer motivation and Carl Jung’s archetypes for brand personality. These models are applied using years of behavioral research experience from and with our partner One Inch Whale, ensuring a structured and evidence-based foundation.

Product DNA

The Product DNA builds on your Brand DNA and focuses on a specific product or product line. It captures what makes your product unique and how it should be expressed within its category.

Through guided questions, you define your product’s attributes, positioning, and differentiation. This helps to understand where your packaging follows category conventions and where it should stand out. The accuracy of this input directly affects the quality of all visual insights.

What you get

A structured Product DNA report that forms the basis for your iVisual Identity, packaging analysis, and all further creative exploration within the platform.

Scientific foundation

We guide you through a style exercise derived from our patented Color Passport system. This helps define your product’s style and tone of voice and concludes with suggested, validated, science-based colors.

iVisual Identity

The iVisual Identity is where your Brand DNA and Product DNA come to life visually. It translates your strategy into a curated list of validated, research-based colors that reflect your brand’s personality and your product’s style and tone of voice.

What you get

  • A curated list of 200 validated colors with detailed explanations

  • Ability to generate or create new palettes based on these colors

  • Option to generate AI-driven product image inspiration using your selected colors

Scientific foundation

The colors in iVisual Identity are generated using our patented Color Passport system, derived from the Color Cluster methodology by engineer and professor Luc Van Renterghem. Unlike traditional color codes, this system maps over 7,200 fully reproducible colors and assigns each one a set of validated characteristics based on extensive research. Every color choice is grounded in science, consistent with your brand, and optimized for perception and impact.

Scan

The Scan module evaluates how well your packaging aligns with your Brand DNA and Product DNA. By uploading your packaging, you receive an in-depth, science-based analysis that highlights both strengths and areas for improvement. This ensures your design communicates consistently with your DNA and supports stronger shelf and brand performance.

  • Detailed evaluation of brand fit, typography, color palette, hierarchy, and more

  • Actionable, data-driven insights to optimize your packaging design
