What is iVisual?

iVisual is a smart packaging platform that connects brand strategy to design execution, using data, science, and creative direction. It helps marketing, design, and innovation teams build consistent, strategic, and impactful packaging based on a shared visual foundation.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or refining existing packs, iVisual gives you the tools to align teams, reduce guesswork, and create packaging that works.

What you can do with iVisual

1. Define your brand and product DNA

Set the foundation for all future packaging decisions.

  • Create your brand DNA to capture your brand’s core values, style, and tone. This is done once and reused across projects.
    The brand DNA is a strategic framework built on the brand key and brand archetypes. This DNA captures the essence of your brand: its values, target audience and reason for being. Whether you’re developing new products, designing packaging, or crafting communications, the Brand DNA ensures everything stays consistent, meaningful, and  recognizable.
  • Build a product DNA for each specific product or sub-range, highlighting unique benefits, target audience and market positioning.
    Once the Brand DNA is in place, you’ll define the Product DNA, a more focused layer that zooms in on a specific product. It narrows the category, highlights product attributes, pack facts, unique selling points, and defines the target audience.  

2. Generate your iVisual Identity

Turn your strategy into a creative direction.

  • Get validated color palettes and a color list. All colors in the palettes or in the list are validated through the iVIsual Framework based on your DNA. There are three ways to select your favorite colors:
    • Chose a predefined palette
    • Chose a palette you like and edit some of the colors by picking colors from the list
    • Compose a palette by yourself by picking colors from the list
  • Receive typography suggestions that match your positioning
    • Each palette will give typography suggestions to use on your packaging
  • Generate image inspiration aligned with your brand style
    • We will generate some inspiration for you, based on the colors you select. It will take again your brand and product DNA into account to get to a nice design brief. You can save images or highlight some specifics to edit the images to your liking. 

3. Scan your packaging

Check how well your packaging reflects your DNA.

  • Upload an existing or new pack design
  • Evaluate how well it aligns with your brand and product DNA
  • Identify where it stays on-brand and where adjustments may be needed

4. Compare your packaging

Benchmark your design against the competition, or your own range.

  • Select up to 3 reference packs
  • Compare your design visually and strategically
  • Spot opportunities for differentiation or alignment
